When Drs. Peter Scrivani and Stacy Cooley of Cornell University approached SMI for help with an illustration, they wanted to depict both the positioning of the transpalpebral ultrasound probe, as well as the anatomy of the optic nerve sheath diameter and its connection to the meningeal layers of the equine brain. No easy feat! We are thrilled with the result, which will help them visualize their research.
